The level of your compensation is dependant upon the destination and length of delay with the compensation tariffs fixed according to the following :- 250 euros for flights up to 1,500km if the delay is more than 2 hours, 400 euros for flights over 1,500km upto 3,500km , 300 euros if a flight delayed for 3-4 hours if the distance is more than 3,500 and finally 600 euros if the flight distance is 3,500 and you are delayed for more than 4 hours. You can also also claim if your flight is cancelled at short notice with similar fixed compensation amounts applying.
