Our fixed fee service doesn’t cost thousands either – in most cases we can obtain probate quickly and easily in just 3-5 weeks while all costs are deferred until the end of the case.
In our experience we find that applying for probate by yourself does take longer.
Other issues to consider:-
- We are fully insured – if errors occur then the Executor remains liable
- Is there a problem with the will? eg. Are the terms clear ? is there an issue over the meaning of the will? We have experience in dealing with all  these issues.
- Having an impartial solicitor helps ensure that family disputes do not arise over the estate distribution
